Towards the 79th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (27/07/1947 – 27/07/2026), Sai Dong Urban Primary School organized a series of meaningful activities to express profound gratitude to heroic martyrs, war invalids, and people with meritorious service to the revolution, contributing to educating administrators, teachers, and students about the traditions of "When Drinking Water, Remember Its Source" and "Repaying Gratitude to Those Who Have Rendered Service to the Nation."

On the afternoon of 24 July 2026, the school's Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization organized the cleaning of the memorial site, flower offering, and incense offering at the Phuc Loi Ward Heroes and Martyrs Memorial. In a solemn atmosphere, Youth Union members and Young Pioneer members together cleaned the grounds of the Memorial, respectfully offered fragrant sticks of incense and fresh bouquets of flowers to remember and express gratitude to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed themselves for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Continuing the gratitude activities, representatives of the staff of Sai Dong Urban Primary School visited, extended regards to, encouraged, and presented meaningful gifts to the families of war invalids and martyrs of Ms. Tran Phuong Oanh and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Minh. Although simple, the gifts contained the sincere affection, respect, and profound gratitude of the collective of the school towards the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations for the cause of the struggle for national liberation and the defence of the Fatherland.
