CLASS 2A3 LITTLE EXPLORERS – DISCOVERING THE WORLD OF TRANSPORTATION

Class 2A3 explored the world of transportation in an engaging Nature and Society lesson. Through CLIL activities, English vocabulary practice, group discussions and Plickers quizzes, students discovered different types of transport, learned about road safety and explored Hanoi’s cultural heritage, developing curiosity, confidence and a greater appreciation for everyday life.

On November 4, 2026, Ms. Vu Mai Tram guided Class 2A3 through an exciting learning journey in their Nature and Society lesson on the topic “Transportation Activities”. Through a variety of engaging activities, students explored the fascinating world of transportation.

Class 2A3 students enthusiastically explore different means of transportation through engaging CLIL activities and interactive learning experiences.

At the “Four-Way Transport Map” station, students identified and classified vehicles into four categories: road, rail, water and air transport. At the “Transport Control Station”, they worked in groups to observe, discuss and share the benefits of different means of transportation in everyday life.

A highlight of the lesson was the integration of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), combining subject knowledge with English practice. Students chanted vocabulary such as Plane, Bus, Train and Boat/Ship, and enthusiastically took part in a student-led English segment called “Little Traffic News”. At the “Smart Challenge Arena”, they used Plickers cards to select answers, reinforcing their knowledge while experiencing the application of technology in learning.

Images of the “Hà Nội 5 Cửa Ô” heritage tourist train gave students an opportunity to discover the cultural beauty of the capital and develop a greater sense of pride in Hanoi. The activity also helped them understand the importance of road safety and appreciate the contributions of people working in the transportation sector.

By the end of the journey, each student had become a confident little explorer, eager to learn and discover new things. These meaningful experiences not only broadened their knowledge but also nurtured their love of learning and supported their personal growth!
