In celebration of Vietnamese Women’s Day on 20 October, many activities are organised to honour women and appreciate their contributions to family and society. Making handmade crafts and floral greeting cards as gifts for grandmothers and mothers is an annual activity for students of Sai Dong Urban Primary School. This meaningful activity helps students develop creativity, dexterity, and attention to detail through their work. It also teaches them to love their family members, school, teachers, and friends, and to appreciate the products they make themselves.

Immediately after the activity was launched, it received enthusiastic participation from students, along with strong support from parents. Many greeting cards and paintings were carefully completed by the students. Each creation is a sincere expression of gratitude to the women in their lives. Through these experiential activities, students learn about the significance of Vietnamese Women’s Day on 20 October, develop a spirit of love and sharing, express their creativity, and gain valuable experiences.

This is not only an opportunity for students to demonstrate their talents and creativity, but also a chance to express their gratitude and love for the women who are always by their side and care for them every day. These are feelings that students may have few opportunities to express in their daily lives.
