On the morning of 2 November 2026, Sai Dong Urban Primary School held its Week 9 flag-raising ceremony with a range of meaningful activities, motivating students and encouraging a spirit of healthy competition as they began a new school week.

RECOGNISING EFFORTS AND PROUD ACHIEVEMENTS
A highlight of the programme was the recognition of “Outstanding Sai Dong Students” for October, acknowledging students with notable achievements, positive learning attitudes, and good deeds in their studies and personal development. Each student honoured serves as an inspiration, helping spread positive values and encouraging their peers to continue striving for progress.

During the programme, the school also recognised Class 4A3 for winning First Prize in the October Class Discipline and Order Competition. This award was well deserved in recognition of the class's self-discipline, sense of responsibility, and solidarity throughout their learning and development. This achievement also motivates other classes to continue striving together to build an orderly and positive school environment.

ENGLISH CHALLENGE – WEEK 2: ENGLISH AT THE TABLE
Continuing the journey of bringing English closer to students' daily lives, the programme introduced Week 2 of the English Challenge under the theme “English at the Table”, taking place from 2 to 8 November 2026.

With this familiar and engaging theme, students are encouraged to use English to introduce their favourite dishes at school and prepare a dish with their parents at home, then confidently share information about it in English. They are also guided to complete Page 4 of their English Passport, accumulate reward points, and receive stamps for completed challenges.

In addition to expanding vocabulary and improving communication skills, the activity provides students with opportunities to apply English in real-life situations while strengthening family bonds through enjoyable learning experiences.
